When my niece was born in Perth, AU in September 2018, to say I was dying to meet her would be an understatement. So when my brother and his new lil family were planning their trip with 4 month old Georgie to England and Austria in January 2019, there was no option for me not to go :) So I went over my birthday weekend, and met this babe for four lovely, whirlwind days.
We toured London, had a mini reunion with my mum’s family with surprise birthday cake, and took a very cramped car ride to Beccles to visit Mum’s home again. So in summary, it was a perfect 4 day getaway to see my whole family in one space for the first time in 3 years xo
Family Trip 2018
Last summer was hectic to say the least. We bought a house, moved in, and a week later left for our family trip to the UK! We were finally able to bring my husband’s daughter to visit my family in England, and took her on an adventure to London, Durham, and Beccles - so basically we introduced her to lots of trains, haha! Most of my extended family who reside in the UK live in or around London, however my mum relocated to a beautiful town near the coast called Beccles, adding another home away from home for me.
Home is quite literally wherever my family resides, whether that’s England, Australia, Canada, or midwestern Ohio. Just like my mentality, home for me has no borders. xo
Marc + Jackie B
Marc and I have known each other since our freshman year of high school back in Trenton, Ontario, and even though life has taken us here, there, and everywhere, we still have each other’s back when the moment calls for it. True friendships that last the decades are hard to find, and when you do, it’s a true blessing.
In June 2018, I travelled to Golden, B.C. for a whirlwind weekend out in the Rockies to photograph and attend the wedding day of my boy Marc - my “friend-to-the-end” - and his lady lass, Ms. Jackie B.
With family and friends flying in from Canada and the U.S., the weekend was filled with so much love, so many laughs, and an endless aray of stunning landscape. It’s always a joy to be able to join in on such special occasions, and it was a true pleasure capturing the wedding day of my dear friend. So without further delay, take a look into the wedding day of Marc + Jackie B. xo
My husband and I went to L.A. for a quick weekend trip for my cousin’s wedding in April 2018. We caught up with lots of family, ate lots of amazing food, and enjoyed some time away on the coast. xo

When I was back home visiting in August, I squeezed in a small family portrait shoot with the beautiful Rachel and her equally lovely family. Having worked with Rachel for a brief period at The Salon in Belleville, ON, I was lucky to experience her bright and radiant soul. She's truly a wonder, and when I had the opportunity to photograph her and her family on their family-run farm in the small town of Wooler I wasn't going to miss out! But enough with the introductions - here are the Gibsons xo

Jen + Dave
I had photographed Jen's daughter Daisy the year prior in a fun outdoor portrait shoot, and so when her mother Jen reached out looking for a wedding photographer for her upcoming nuptials to Dave, I was thrilled! Held on a beautiful June afternoon at Crockett's Run in Logan, Ohio, these two definitely knew what they wanted for their day and it went off brilliantly. From the moment the groom let me in on his secret that he was going to surprise Jen with her dream ride, I knew this day was going to go down perfectly :)
Surrounded by the stunning backdrop of green trees, hills, and blue skies, Jen and Dave said their I Do's in front of their closest friends and family before dancing the night away in the lodge, and it was such a joy photographing their day. And now I'm so excited to finally be able to publish some of their images for your viewing :) Enjoy!! xo
Venue: Crockett's Run, Logan, Ohio Wedding day: June 10, 2017
On February 9th, 2017 my husband and I headed West. Waaaaaay west. We flew from our snowy digs in Ohio to Brisbane, Australia where we would eventually catch our connection flight to Perth in the WA. My brother has lived in Perth for over three years, and I'd yet been able to make the trek to visit him and the country he now holds a passport to.
The trip was stunning. The city, its surroundings, and the easy breezy nature which is accented with that fresh salty air coming off the Indian Ocean. Here are some photos. Now go pack your bags xo

Ana + Andrew
It was an insanely gusty, stormy day with rain pouring down from morning until evening, but an hour before we were set to meet, the rain stopped, the clouds departed and we were left with unexpected sun and warmth!
For Ana + Andrew's engagement shoot, we wandered the downtown vicinity of Columbus, Ohio, hitting up classic spots like the newly renovated metropolitan library, Schiller Park in German Village, and the Union Station Arch in the Arena District. What looked like a monsoon stricken day turned out to be a lovely, chill evening for photographing xo
Ashley + Tom
When a make-up artist marries and her entire party is filled with hair stylists and estheticians, you can be sure of two things: 1) The people involved will look phenomenal, and 2) It's going to be a good night!
I had the complete joy and privilege of photographing my friend and old co-worker's wedding in a stunning setting of Brighton, Ontario. The team at The Salon, and Salon You not only supplied the beauty skillsets for the day, but also resounding joy and support for their team mate's wedding day!
The wedding took place at the groom's family farm, and it was one of the most beautiful backdrops to such a celebration. I miss these wonderful people dearly, and I'm so excited to share the many amazing moments from their wedding day xo
I had met Daisy earlier this year, or perhaps late last year.. either way, when I thought about shooting a portrait session in between weddings this past summer, her name immediately popped into my head. She's an amazing self-taught artiste when it comes to make-up applications (yes, she did her own make-up), and a confident, natural stunner. She's now off in Europe for the next four years as she pursues her Bachelor's degree, and so this was a last minute session captured in Columbus, Ohio's Franklin Park days before her departure. So without further delay - here is Daisy xo
Carlos + Nevada
On the morning of August 6, 2016 I made my way into Indianapolis, IN to capture Carlos and Nevada's wedding day. Held at the Benton House, the couple decorated its naturally stunning interior with crafted trinkets, homemade treats, and woodblock prints at each place setting. The whole day was filled with so much love and joy, and the intimate atmosphere provided the perfect platform for a wonderful day. It was such a creative wedding to shoot since both the bride and groom are immensely talented artists, and I had so much fun spending the entire day with them. xo
Corey + Abby
On an unusually cold and windy May day, Corey and Abby wed lake side in Michigan City, Indiana. Through the near freezing temperatures and numbing cold, all of their loved ones gathered around to celebrate the duos' nuptials. And the couple even braved freezing winds to capture some photos on the beach - I'd say it was well worth the chill! xo
